Dispatch, delivery and freight

How we pack, ship and deliver — from a box of electrode caps to a fully assembled welding machine.

Last updated: 24 July 2026

Every quotation states the delivery basis for that order. Where a quotation and this page differ, the quotation applies.

Where we deliver

We deliver throughout Pakistan and export internationally. Our offices in Germany and Japan allow equipment to be sourced, inspected and shipped directly from the manufacturer where that is faster or more economical than routing through Karachi.

Processing and lead times

  • Stocked consumables and spare parts — normally dispatched within a few working days of order confirmation.
  • Locally manufactured machines — lead time depends on specification and current workshop loading, and is confirmed on the quotation.
  • Imported equipment — lead time depends on the manufacturer’s build slot and the shipping route.
  • Reconditioning work — quoted after inspection of the machine.

All lead times are estimates given in good faith and run from the date of a confirmed order, including receipt of any agreed advance payment.

Freight and packing

Unless a quotation states otherwise, prices are exclusive of freight, packing, insurance, duties and taxes. Freight is charged at cost or as quoted. Machines are packed appropriately for the transport mode — palletised, crated or containerised, with export packing available where required.

Delivery terms

Risk passes on delivery to your nominated address or to your carrier. Title remains with us until payment is received in full. International shipments are made on the Incoterms stated in the quotation; duties, taxes and clearance charges at destination are the buyer’s responsibility unless expressly quoted by us.

Heavy machinery deliveries

Welding machines, transformers and hoists are heavy and often need mechanical handling. Before a machine delivery, please confirm:

  • Vehicle access to the unloading point and any height or weight restriction
  • Availability of a forklift, crane or gantry of adequate capacity at your site
  • That personnel are available to receive and sign for the delivery
  • That the intended floor position is clear and the foundation is suitable

Where a delivery cannot be completed because the site is not ready, re-delivery and any waiting time may be charged.

Inspection on arrival

Please check the number of packages against the delivery note and inspect for visible damage before signing. Record any damage or shortage on the delivery documentation and photograph the packaging before opening it. Damage and shortages must be reported to us within 7 days — see our Return Policy.

Delays

We will tell you promptly if a shipment is running late. We are not liable for delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, port congestion, customs clearance, import restrictions or manufacturer build delays.

International orders

For export orders we can supply commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and other documentation as required. Origin of products is available on request. Please confirm any special documentation or marking requirements at the time of order, as these are difficult to add once goods are packed.

Collection from our works

You are welcome to collect from our Surjani Town facility. Please arrange a collection slot in advance so the goods are ready and someone is available to load, and bring the order reference with you.
